More than 4,000 pounds of food donated to Second Harvest Food Bank

More than 4,000 pounds of food donated to Second Harvest Food BankTeam Corizon’s holiday food drive was an undeniable success. The initial goal was to collect 1,300 lbs. of food for Second Harvest Food Bank, a Nashville-area non-profit that works to feed the hungry and solve hunger issues in Middle and West Tennessee. A total of 4,097 pounds of food was collected, smashing the goal set forward at the beginning of December. The kindness and generosity of Corizon Health team members will help to ensure hungry families throughout the community will be fed.

“This donation will provide about 4,700 meals to those who need it most right here in Middle Tennessee,” said Courtney Blaise, Corporate Donor Relations Manager for Second Harvest. “We are so thankful for the gift and are so appreciative of Corizon!”
