Kent County, Michigan continues with Corizon

Kent County, Michigan continues with CorizonTen-year client Kent County, Michigan, recently extended Corizon’s contract marking the 11th Corizon Health jail contract to re-up in 2016.

In part by switching pharmacy providers to PharmaCorr, we were able to offer the client tremendous savings that, when combined with excellent client service and quality patient care, led Kent County to decide against issuing an RFP. Instead they exercised both of the one-year extension’s allowed for in the contract.

This contract extension is a great example of what may be accomplished working across departments as a team. I’d like to particularly recognize the efforts of Michigan Vice President of Operations Mason Gill, Business Development Director Mike Viers, Health Services Administrator Yvonne Lake, and Director of Nursing Penny Johnson in maintaining a strong relationship with the client, listening and responding to the client’s needs, and working within the Corizon Health team to develop a winning proposal.
