The Henderson Detention Center in Henderson, Nevada, recently received a 100 percent score on its recent Detention Standards Compliance Audit with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) division of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. ICE auditors commented on the professionalism of Corizon Health staff, under the leadership of Health Services Administrator (HSA) Pat O’Connell and Director of Nursing (DON) Marsha Gardner.

A previous audit, conducted prior to Pat and Marsha assuming their leadership roles, listed six deficiencies that the team was determined to resolve. The team worked hard over many days and nights to resolve deficiencies and garner their perfect audit score, exemplifying Corizon’s SMART values of Safety, Motivation, Accountability, Respect and Teamwork.

We congratulate the Corizon Health team in Henderson on their success and thank them for their commitment to excellence in their craft.
