The Wyoming Honor Conservation Camp (WHCC) and Wyoming Women’s Center (WWC) recently underwent the first two American Correctional Association (ACA) accreditation audits being performed at all facilities within the Wyoming Department of Corrections (WDOC). Both facilities achieved a perfect score of 100% on mandatory standards. WHCC also scored 100% on non-mandatory standards, while WWC scored a 99.3% due to unchangeable facility structure. As stated by the audit team chairman, “I see this facility [WWC] as 100% and 100% as well.”

Congratulations to Warden Tom Martin, HSA Vickie Smith and the staff at WHCC (pictured), as well as to Warden Virginia Pullen, HSA Amy Strauch and the staff at WWC. While auditors do not release official audit results, an exit interview was conducted during which time the auditors congratulated both facilities on a job well done. Of our WDOC team, Director of Operations for Corizon Health in Wyoming, Stacie Koch, said, “I’m extremely proud of the work we do every day, and to receive results from audits like we continue to do is just amazing!”
