Fulton County, Georgia team participates in 5k ‘Race to End Homelessness’Members of the Corizon Health team in Fulton County, Georgia, participated in the recent 2016 Atlanta Mission 5k Race to End Homelessness, running in the winter cold for those who spend their days and nights outside in often harsh conditions. The collective efforts of the Fulton County team raised nearly $1,000 towards the Mission’s ultimate goal of $220,000.

Thousands of men, women and children bundled up and took to the streets of downtown Atlanta, which is home to over 7,000 homeless citizens who face dangerous winter conditions without a roof over their heads. The Atlanta Mission serves more than 1,000 every single day, and their downtown shelter alone is refuge for over 400 men per day. Thank you to all those who participated and to those who donated to this compassionate community cause.
