PharmaCorr team helps transition halfway house into reentry facility

Kansas City Reentry Center

Recently, the Missouri Department of Corrections transformed a halfway house for those newly released from prison into a minimum security facility. What was known as the Kansas City Community Release Center is now the Kansas City Re-entry Center. The new facility is getting receiving good feedback from local downtown businesses. The Center helps cut down on loitering and other problems associated with the previous facility, which housed up to 400 people on probation or parole and released them every weekday morning.

The PharmaCorr team fulfilled a critical role in this start-up by planning and executing a seamless pharmacy implementation, along with regular medication deliveries to the newly-transitioned facility. Congratulations to the entire team for providing excellent healthcare and pharmacy services to our newest facility in Missouri—right from the start.
