Fulton County, Georgia nurses published in national journal on public health

Corizon Health LPN Portia Watlington, Nurse Compliance Coordinator, and Corizon Health RN Taptolia Barden-Carpenter, Staff Nurse, are now published authors. Their article, “Establishing an HIV Screening Program Led by Staff Nurses in a County Jail,” appeared in the November/December issue of the Journal of Public Health Management and Practice. The journal is a bi-monthly peer-reviewed publication guided by a multidisciplinary editorial board of administrators, practitioners and scientists. The November/December issue focuses on surveillance and programs for HIV infection and sexually-transmitted diseases.
