Regional Clinical Services Manager earns Doctor of Nursing Practice degree

Leonora Muhammad, DNP, RN, CCHP

Leonora Muhammad (DNP, RN, CCHP) has been awarded a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Brandman University in Irvine (CA), and will also be eligible to sit for her Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner certification after graduation. Leonora has been with Corizon Health for eight years, and during this time has filled such roles as staff/ charge nurse, Director of Nursing (DON) mentor, DON for St. Louis City Jails, and now Regional Clinical Services Manager (RCSM) for the western region. Leonora’s doctoral scholarly project focused on “Improving Blood Glucose Levels and Perceptions of Care in Diabetic Inmates through Education and Exercise.” She plans on using her DNP degree to continue to improve clinical practice in our incarcerated population.
