Kentucky team receives letter of thanks from family of inmate patient

Lexington-Fayette County Detention Center

A recent letter from the family of an elderly inmate at Lexington-Fayette County Detention Center (KY) goes a long way to proving the compassionate care given by the Corizon Health medical staff there. Director of Community Corrections for the facility Rodney Ballard stated, “Here at the Division, we work hard every day to do the right things for the people we are entrusted to house…I’m blessed to have to have such a dedicated team!”

Jammie Garner, Health Services Administrator for the facility, shared the letter of thanks with Corizon Health leadership, which states in part—“The staff in the infirmary dealt with my grandfather with professionalism and compassion. We appreciate this very commendable act of dealing with our grandfather’s medical and comfort needs. It was obvious that the staff was well trained, it is comforting to know that even in some of the worst situations and places on earth that there are still good people that give hope to others.”

Great job, Lexington-Fayette team!
