Alabama Department of Corrections Renews Contract with Corizon HealthCorizon Health, the nation’s leader in correctional healthcare solutions, announced on February 9 the Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC) approved the renewal of its correctional healthcare contract through September 30, 2017.

In addition to the extension, the contract includes the implementation of telemedicine services at 20 ADOC facilities, annual HIV testing, increased staffing and a new administrator for women’s healthcare.

The contract extension will bring Corizon Health to 10 total years of partnership with the Alabama Department of Corrections.
