Brentwood team members work together to build bikes for kids

For a child, nothing says Christmas like the gift of a brand new bicycle. Corizon Health teams in both Brentwood (TN) and St. Louis (MO) helped make that happen for some local children during the recent holiday season by actually building bicycles during a charity team building event.

Groups competed in several “Charity Bike Team Challenges” to win parts needed to assemble their bicycles. The challenges consisted of racing against the clock to build the highest balloon tower and strategically flipping over a large piece of tarp – while all team members were standing on it. Once a team completed a challenge, they would then receive parts to put their bike together. The team that completely assembled their bike first won the event and a prize.

The events turned out to be not only fun team building exercises, but also a great way to give back to communities. And don’t worry – all bikes were inspected by professionals before being distributed to any children.
