Corizon offers support to women in transition
Corizon team members in St. Louis recently took a trip to a local non-profit to help sort donations. The Center for Women in Transition provides recently incarcerated women with the tools, support and resources to make positive choices, achieve meaningful goals and be accountable for past actions. Utilizing restorative justice practices, the Center ensures that its clients have safe housing, find meaningful employment, work towards sobriety and lead stable, crime-free lives.

Meanwhile, in Brentwood, several employees took the month of March to help women re-entering society from incarceration, rehabilitation or homelessness by partnering with The Next Door, a Nashville organization that uses an evidence-based approach to clinical treatment for drug and alcohol addiction. Their mission is to address the physical, mental and spiritual needs of women in crisis, equipping them for lives of wholeness and hope. Corizon employees donated 25 bags of personal items and collected other cleaning supplies and hygiene items for women and children. When delivering the bags, employees also received a tour of their facility.

Corizon team members continually give of their time and resources to support area non-profits and charities nationwide, and we are grateful for their generosity.
