Team members from the Penitentiary of New Mexico and the New Mexico Regional Office formed Team Corizon and participated in the American Cancer Society (ACS) Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. The team raised money through fundraising activities like a Frito-Pie sale, a team yard sale and individual donations. We were able to raise over $1,800 in support of breast cancer awareness. The funds raised will help the ACS in creating a world with less breast cancer and more celebrated birthdays.

The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk inspires the community to increase awareness with reducing the risk of getting breast cancer, raise funds to rally around the ACS to fight cancer with cutting edge research and to honor breast cancer survivors.
