CORIZON ANNOUNCES NEW VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONSBRENTWOOD, Tenn., (March 18, 2013)—Corizon, the nation’s leader in correctional healthcare solutions, announced recently the hiring of Vickie Bybee as Vice President of Operations (VPO).

In her new role, Bybee is responsible for leading Corizon’s new contract with the Arizona Department of Corrections, which began on March 4, 2013.

“Vickie brings a wealth of knowledge to this role from her years of experience in the correctional healthcare industry,” said Tom Voss, Corizon’s Senior Vice President Operations. “She is the ideal leader who will build a strong team that will offer programs that are both quality driven and cost-effective.”

Bybee has more than 25 years of experience with Corizon. She was hired in 1985 as a staff nurse at Pontiac Correctional Center in Illinois, and was quickly promoted to Director of Nursing at that facility before ultimately being named Chief Operating Officer in 2006. She has been retired since 2011 prior to being named VPO.


She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s in healthcare administration at the College of Saint Francis in Joliet, Ill.
