Corizon Announces New Vice President of Operations Dr. Michael ZuckermanBRENTWOOD, Tenn., (Feb. 7, 2013)—Corizon, the nation’s leader in correctional healthcare solutions, announced today the hiring of Dr. Michael Zuckerman as Vice President of Operations in New York.

In his new role, effective immediately, Dr. Zuckerman is responsible for overseeing the business management services for Corizon’s contract with the New York Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH).

Dr. Zuckerman has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, most recently serving as Vice President of Medical Affairs and Operations for Central Health of Newfoundland, Canada, and as the medical affairs liaison to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.

He earned his medical degree from Howard University, and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, American College of Physician Executives, American Medical Association, Canadian Medical Association and the Newfoundland and Labrador Medical Association.
