Dr. Sylvia McQueen – Corizon VP CLinical Services

Sylvia McQueen, M.D., Corizon Vice President Clinical Services, was featured in the Winter/Spring 2012 issue of African-American Career World Magazine. The article is part of the magazine’s feature, “Examining Healthcare Careers.”

The article goes into the challenges of correctional healthcare and how Dr. McQueen made her way into this industry. After practicing primary care at the Criminal Justice Center in Nashville, she says she “absolutely fell in love with taking care of those patients. That was in 1995, and I have never turned back.”
