Mike Lowe, LPN at Fulton Reception and Diagnostic Center, a Corizon facility in Fulton, MO, recently won the election to become mayor of his hometown, New Bloomfield, MO. This was Mike’s first attempt at running for public office.

Mike has been with Corizon for more than 19 years. He began his service with the MDOC‘s first privatization contract, effective December 1, 1992. The Department of Corrections, MDOC,  with victims, communities and state and local governments improves public safety through secure confinement and effective community interventions.

Mike is also an armed forces veteran, having served in the U.S. Army for 20 years prior to joining Corizon.

In a newspaper article Lowe said he filed for mayor because he wants to do what he can to help the city grow and attract more businesses.
