Maryland fundraising efforts helping many organizations in community

Maryland fundraising efforts helping many organizations in communityThe Maryland Region was in a-bustle this past Holiday season with many fundraising efforts underway to help their local communities. All sites were participating in Maryland Community Service projects to benefit several organizations. The Kami’s Jammiesprogram, sponsored by the Casey Cares Foundation, collected new pajamas for critically ill children on extended hospital stays. A food drive was also underway to benefit the Baltimore Food Bank. Management teams at local sites also got involved by partnering with the Community Senior Agency to collect and wrap gifts for the seniors; the Jessup region adopted three schools and helped families there in need have a Happy. The Baltimore team also contributed to the Big Heart Benevolence Fund.

With their contributions to the “Big Bucks” – give from the Heart Benevolence Fund, the Medical Department from Baltimore Central Booking Intake Facility was recognized. Ms. Stacy Scott was recognized in particular for her input in wanting the medical department to show support and suggesting a match contribution for funds that were raised within. The benevolence fund was established to help support officers and their families in times of hardship.

Outstanding effort by the Maryland Region! Their activities most definitely brought cheer to many families this past holiday season.
