Stefanie’s daughter, Carli and former St. Louis Cardinals’ first baseman, Albert Pujols

The St. Louis Operations office is still reveling in the glow of the World Series spotlight after their St. Louis Cardinals took home the title of 2011 World Series Champions. Amidst that glow, you can’t help but notice the shining star that is Albert Pujols. Sure, we all know his heavy hitting, All-Star, Golden Glove ways, but the former Cardinals first baseman offered a lot more to the city of St. Louis than his homeruns. (As of press time…Best Wishes to Albert in L.A.)

Stefanie Maucher, Corizon Training and Communications Specialist, knows first-hand the capabilities of Albert Pujols and his Pujols Family Foundation.

In 2006, after an AMAZING story of the adoption of baby Carli, the Maucher family has become even more of an integral part of the Pujols Family Foundation’s success. The Mauchers volunteer countless hours to help with events and even arranged a raffle of an autographed Pujols print (with the Foundation’s full support) at a recent baseball tournament in Joplin, Missouri, after their town was devastated by tornadoes.

The Pujols Family Foundation, since its beginning in 2005, exists to promote awareness, provide hope and meet tangible needs for families and children who live with Down Syndrome; to provide extraordinary experiences for children with disabilities and/or life threatening illnesses and to improve the standard of living and quality of life for impoverished children in the Dominican Republic through education, medical relief and tangible goods. “Everyone at the Foundation is truly our family and we are honored to be a part of something so special,” stated Maucher.
