Camp Summit Juvenile Boot Camp (CSJBC) wins award

The CSJBC, Camp Summit Juvenile Boot Camp, was recently selected as the 2011 PbS Barbara Allen-Hagen Award Correction Facility Winner for substantially improving troubled youth math scores and physical fitness. CSJBC is one of six residential facilities operated by the Indiana Department of Corrections. In April 2011, after new programs were launched to promote confidence and positive outcomes, 87% of troubled youths released from CSJBC left with improved math scores and every troubled youth (100%) left with improved physical fitness.
